Maria Montessori House Of Children, The Montessori and Elementary School is situated at Zoo Narengi Road. It is a unit of Maria’s Public School, Birkuchi, Assam, India, which is one of the best schools and counted as the oldest and most successful schools of our city.
The objective of the school is to provide an educational environment which will help its students to become useful, competent and conscious citizens of tomorrow. A holistic development of the child is strived for, through various activities incorporated in the academic calendar like Quiz, Eco Clubs, music, dance, sports and games.
We are also privileged now to receive the ‘Green Stamp’ award for making the best use of the green and blue coloured dustbins for organic and dry waste. Our school emphasizes on discipline, dedication, sincerity and hard work. We were introduced to the International Dimension by our sister school, Maria’s Public School, during the year 2015, and our school began executing projects for the Green Schools Alliance, USA and Round Square, UK. After having our own success stories with International Projects and Activities, the Elementary School was ready to apply for the British Council International School Awards Programme and are privileged to receive the prestigious British Council International School Award, 2020
